The American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) was founded in 1964 as an organization dedicated to advancing the plumbing engineering profession, assisting the professional growth and advancement of its members, and protecting the health, welfare, and safety of the public.

About the Hampton Roads Chapter
The Hampton Roads Chapter held its first meeting in February 2013 as a satellite of the Richmond VA Chapter. In July of 2019 Hampton Roads officially dropped the satellite chapter status from Richmond to become our own Charter. We are currently 42 members strong and growing. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month September through May at the offices of Clark Nexsen (14th-floor main conference room) in Virginia Beach Town Center.
